Abstract

General Election 2018 in Pakistan has witnessed the key role of impact of political news through different media to aware people. Voters rely on Television, Radio, newspapers, and social media news to know about the political world, seek political knowledge and political discussion. This article will examine the impact of news media on the voters’ voting behavior in the 2018 general election in Pakistan. Changes in voter behavior are being credited in the news media in Pakistan. This study aims to improve our understanding of the route by which political news pave the way for political discussion. This study will observe the relationships between political news on Television, Newspaper, Radio, social media, and political discussion of people. The survey of voters belonging to Lahore city will be administered by using well-designed questionnaire. The required data will be collected through simple random sampling.
