Emotional intelligence is an essential factor responsible for determining success in life and shaping interaction between individuals and work. The present study aimed to determine the profound effect of emotional intelligence on job stress, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of bank employees. Participants were 330 bank employees from Multan who completed a questionnaire package including emotional intelligence scale (Schutte et al.,1998), generic job satisfaction scale(Macdonald & Maclntyre,1997), anxiety stress questionnaire (House & Rizzo,1972),and organizational commitment scale (Mowday, Steers, & Porter, 1979). The finding shows that Emotional intelligence significantly predicts job stress, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees and emotional intelligence has positive, negative and no correlation with organizational commitment, job stress and job satisfaction respectively. This research suggests that emotional intelligence must be a part of employees training to uphold employees’ ability to develop successful performance with their organization.
