Abstract

The objective of this paper is to examine the enforcement problems
of the corporate laws in Pakistan. It critically analyses the stock
market problems of enforcing corporate matters. The out-dated
laws and underdeveloped and ineffective stock market are the
major problems for effective enforcement corporate matters in
Pakistan. There is a need to revamp the laws, enhance institutional
capacity and to develop the capital market for the safeguard of the
interests of the investors according to international standards
keeping in view the prevailing circumstances in the country.
