This paper draws on the representation of Kashmir conflict by the British and American print media. The aim of the research was to look into the framing patterns of the conflict in two American national newspapers (The Washington post and the New York Times) and two British national newspapers (The Guardian and the Independent). This study was based on media framing theory and the war and peace journalism model by John Galtung. The research paper seeks to use statistical data from two American and two British newspapers to evaluate whether these newspapers portrayed Kashmir conflict in peace journalism frame or war journalism frame. It was noted that the American press gave more coverage to Kashmir crisis and used positive and neutral frames as compare to British newspapers. On the other hand, British press was more inclined to see the conflict from war journalism frames and adopted critical stance over the crisis.
