Abstract

A case study was piloted to determine the determinants of anxiety among married male. For this purpose, data was collected from each married couple individually. The sample consisted of 300 married individuals from each marriage type, i.e. arranged marriage, marriage of choice with parental acceptance, and marriage of choice without parental acceptance, with the age range of 25 to 35 years and above. Purposive sampling technique was used. The sample for the present study was calculated according to the Krejcie (1970) sample size along with the probabilistic sampling technique for the current study (Neuman, 2001). The collection of data and Kumar (2005) gives the example of such type of questionnaires I.e. questionnaire used in the current research to measure the determinants of anxiety among married male was used in the subjective work respectively. Results from Beta value show different aspects among the association and significant effect of each variable to determine the determinants of anxiety among married male. The findings are helpful in understanding the dynamics of anxiety determinants among married male in Pakistani culture and for pre-anxiety counseling.
