Abstract

Present study aims to examine the direct impact of employee motivation (EM), job satisfaction (JS) empowerment, and trust propensity (TP) on organizational commitment (OC), study also examine the moderating effect of trust propensity upon the relationship of employee motivation, job satisfaction and empowerment with Organizational commitment. Probability sampling technique was used to collect data from employees of private banks. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to confirm the items reliability, discriminant validity and convergent validity. It was found that employee motivation, empowerment, job satisfaction and trust propensity have significant influence on OC. Moreover, the study revealed that this study is only based on workers of private banks and in future it can be replicated by considering employees of public sector banks
