Abstract

With the upsurge in environmental awareness, global organizations have gradually needed to address environmental issues. In response to the growing emphasis on environmental protection by stakeholders, environmental concerns are integrated into firm’s strategic planning and decision-making process. Similarly, several organizations have initiated to take protective measures against eco-friendly practices and with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) enactment, leading to the rise of Green corporate social responsibility phenomenon (GCSR)". Green CSR is essentially a vital and diversefacet of CSR which is more proactive approach to take care of both business and natural environment. The present study is a systematic bibliometric analysis based on 56 Scopus-indexed articles that entails regional distribution, extent, and development of this knowledge base by recognizing key authors, documents, and journals, reviewing the current author's intellectual structure, and highlighting current trends. These findings lead to a scientific discovery that is still emerging globally, but such scholarly studies are widely held by Western established societies. The main contribution of the study is that it provides an overview of the trends and trajectories of green CSR which may help the researchers and the practitioners to understand the trend and future research directions.
