Study of Age Distribution among Juvenile Crimes in District Faisalabad, Pakistan

Children are innocent and if they are brought up with due care and attention, they grow up in positive way physically, mentally, spiritually and morally but destructive surroundings, non-availability of basic needs, bad company, modern technology in this era and many other abuses have converted a juvenile to a delinquent which is damaging the overall progress and development of nations and destabilizes social, divine, and material welfare. The present research is an effort to provide empirical evidence to various perceptions, assertions regarding age affecting juvenile delinquency. The policy makers and social scientists are looking forward to such type of research work for ascertaining the root factors responsible for juvenile crimes in order to fight with this threat effectively. This research gives credibility to the dominating root factors such as inter peer’s associations, age, poverty and parental behavior which lead to juvenile delinquency and the results as well as recommendations of the research have been made in order to help the parents, policy makers, community, public in general and the law enforcing agencies to diminish the tremendously increasing trend of delinquency.
