Abstract

Feminism movement has played such an important role in bringing about change in different areas of life, i.e. science, psychology, literature, law and so far. Deep rooted effects of feminism can be seen in all these mentioned spheres of life. Similarly, Islamic scholars generally and Pakistani Islamic scholars particularly have also accepted influence of these movements and they presented different interpretations of Quranic verses related to women’s rights. They also described men on equal status with women while explaining the meaning of different verses which are apparently related to superiority of men.
