Abstract

By keeping in view the present need of time, there is a need of such representative tool in research of social sciences that can be used for classifying, relating and representing data or sets of data in various aspects. In social science researches, most of work is done quantitatively. Hence this proposed set theory technique can be applied on close ended questionnaire that can be represented by using Venn diagram. By applying this technique, different kind of relationships between respondents, different questions of questionnaire and its options can be seen in elaborative manner in all perspectives. We have applied this technique in three different paradigms from conducting the research to its interpretation. These scenarios are applied on 100 different questionnaires of social sciences by using the technique of set theory and it fulfills the requirements of close ended questions.
