Abstract

Locus of control (LO) and entrepreneurial intention (EI) are the personal characteristics that consider imperative for a person to act being an entrepreneur. The purpose of present research is to test the hypothesized model that LO and EI has positive relationship with adaptability of entrepreneurship. Previous entrepreneurial aptitude scale prepared by author was used after some modification. Smart PLS-3 was used for data analysis. Construct reliability and discriminant validity test permitted that scale is fit for testing hypnotized model by bootstrapping analysis. Total 560 questionnaires were distributed among randomly selected students of management science and economics departments in seven universities of Punjab and Islamabad capital of Pakistan. Out of which 493 completely filled questionnaires were returned. Current study results of bootstrapping by Smart PLS-3 revealed that LO and EI have substantial effect on adaptability of entrepreneurship in university students of Pakistan. Study results exposed that LO has small effect and EI has medium effect on adaptability of entrepreneurship. This result supported to our hypothesized model that LO and EI has positive relationship with adaptability of entrepreneurship.
