Abstract

The fundamental purpose of this research was to analyze and evaluate the impact of microfinance, microenterprises and social entrepreneurship on women empowerment by presenting a third world perspective from Pakistan. Therefore, different dimensions of empowerment were explored with emphasize on women and analyzing the moderating role of culture on the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The study used triangulation approach to understanding, measure and explain the women empowerment in a comprehensive mode. The target population of this study was the female clients of Akhuwat foundation from different areas of Pakistan. Descriptive as well as inferential statistics like, frequency analysis, correlation and regression analysis were made using SPSS. The main findings of this study reveal that microfinance, microenterprises and social entrepreneurship have a statistically significant impact on women empowerment and culture also plays a key role in this relationship.
