Impact of In-service Training on Management Skills of School Teachers

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out impact of in-service teacher training on management skills of school teachers. Data, collected from participants of in-service training through two questionnaires, was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that there was positive impact of training on teachers’ management skills. There was significant difference in the opinions of M.Ed. and B.Ed. teachers’ responses about impact of training. The study suggested that in-service training for school teachers may preferably be organized at district training centres, and competent and motivated trainers may be involved in training.
