Abstract

Climate change is emerging challenge for entire South Asia. Today,Climate change have become one of the greatest threats for development and welfare of human being. Climate changes are predicted to have very harmful effect on human and natural systems, i.e. flood, drought, rain and thrilling weather conditions, lower agriculture productivity, migration and clashes due to declining resources. When these environmental changes affects the natural system, the quality of life of all living things are affected indirectly or directly. Due to the systemic effects of climate change, Pakistan frequently suffers from global warming, water scarcity, agriculture & food security and natural disasters. The present study explores how climate change has affected South Asian countries especially Pakistan, what outcomes may appear in future due to climate change in this region and what preventive measures should be adopted by government. There is need that government administration should tackle climate changes and protect natural resources in the interest of future generation.
