The purpose of the current study was aimed to find out the relationship between cognitive behavior avoidance, care givers burden, psychological well-being and temporal satisfaction. Another objective of the study was to explore the impact of cognitive behavior avoidance, care givers burden and psychological well-being on temporal satisfaction among mothers of slow learners. Furthermore it was aimed to investigate the differences on demographic variables (age). The sample of 210 mothers of slow learners was selected from four institutions of Multan District. Purposive convenient sampling technique was used. The cognitive behaviour avoidance scale by Ottenbreit and Dobson (2004), caregivers burden scale by Grasel, Chiu and Oliver (2003) , Ryff’s psychological wellbeing scale by Ryff (1995) were used. Results revealed that caregiver burden was positively correlated with cognitive behavior avoidance and negatively correlated with psychological wellbeing. Regression analysis further revealed that only psychological wellbeing is a predictor of temporal life satisfaction. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed significant differences on psychological wellbeing and cognitive behavior avoidance among mothers of different age groups. Findings of this study will bring insightful understanding regarding interconnection and underlying mechanism of cognitive behaviour avoidance, caregiver’s burden and psychological wellbeing and temporal life satisfaction.
