Psycho-Social Influences and Demographic Effects on Sustainable Consumption Behavior in Digital Era

Abstract

The paper aims to investigate the influence of psycho-social factors and demographic variables on sustainable consumption behaviors. Survey questionnaire method was used for data collection. The data was collected from online shoppers from Pakistan. The findings indicate that personal, psychological and social factors have significant relationship with sustainable consumption behaviors whereas demographic variables were not found to be significantly correlated with sustainable consumption behaviors. The limitations and future research directions have also been discussed.
